Alla kvinnor som är aktiva som hantverkare (snickare, målare, murare, elektriker, rörmokare, plattsättare, plåtslagare med mera) inom byggsektorn kan söka eller nomineras till Isabellstipendiet. Stipendiet delas ut den 12 oktober 2017 på Hem & Villa mässan i Stockholm.
Isabellestipendiet vill uppmuntra fler kvinnor att utbilda sig till hantverkare och lyfta de som redan är yrkesverksamma. Eftersom byggbranschen är starkt mansdominerad kan kvinnliga förebilder leda till en mer jämlik bransch, som i sin tur höjer kompetensen och gynnar arbetsklimatet.
Stipendiet är på 20 000 kronor och finansieras i samarbete med aktörer från näringslivet. Stipendiet instiftades 2011 av inredaren och programledaren Isabelle McAllister (känd från bland annat Äntligen hemma, Sommartorpet och Fixa rummet) och delas ut i samarbete med Rättviseförmedlingen.
